The London Pottery Company® was founded by the ceramic designer David Birch® Trained at the Royal College of Art, this invaluable creative design schooling combined with working at Poole Pottery and The Fulham Pottery company, has led to the unique talent that David has of combining good design with well researched manufacturing. Having originated the original ceramic Clip Top storage jar in the late 1970’s he is no stranger to knowing what fits well in the modern as well as traditional kitchen.
David has now had over 40 very successful years in the business of ceramic design and pottery supply. Having been one of the original pioneers in the early 1980’s working with Far East pottery factories from a number of countries; great care is taken to ensure that quality is of the top most importance. A dedicated Far East quality control team ensure that all London Pottery products are carefully checked before factory despatch to ensure they are of the highest standard.
